Sentimental Sundays....Anything Goes

Hi Susan here...

At Sentimental Sundays we have a fabulous new challenge starting today and the theme is 'ANYTHING GOES'. Everybody loves this kind of challenge so come along and join in the fun with us.
For full details of the challenge, our sponsor and for some inspirational ideas from the design team call across to Sentimental Sundays and check it all out.

Now onto my card...

This was such a fun card to make, I love making cards for friends and family just for the sake of saying 'Hello I'm thinking of you'.

My backing papers are from my stash, love this leaf paper is it so versatile, I'll be sorry when its all gone!
The little butterflies have been made using a punch, some inks and glitter.
All the flowers are from Prima, the leaves are from a punch.
The gems and raffia are from Fred Aldous, here in Manchester.

This fabulous digi image has been designed by Lexi Lee and is available from Fairy Dust Crafts, it is called 'See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil monkeys' I used chalks to colour them, the sentiment I made on the computer just before I printed it all out.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look and for all your wonderful comments
Love and hugs

  6. Oh WOW!!!! You ladies do such BEAUTIFUL work! I just sat here soaking in all your beautiful projects and have to say, you are both uber-talented! Love your journals too! (I have a question....I want to try making my own journal, I was wondering how you cut the background paper...Is there a special punch you have to use to make the spine rings fit?...I hope you can understand what I'm asking lol!) Thanks! xx
