Creative Card Crew ... April Showers...

Hi Susan here....

At Creative Card Crew this week our new challenge is 'April Showers', our sponsor for this challenge is Simon Says and the winner is in for a treat. For full details of the challenge and to see what all the design team has made for your inspiration call across to the Creative Card Crew Challenge Blog.

Now for my card....

My backing papers are a mix from my stach and a Generations Stacker. I have used stitching on the pieces of backing paper and the ribbon pieces. My flowers are made up by die cutting some felt flowers and using some flower heads from Hobby Craft.

This cute little digi image is called 'Flopsy in the Rain' and you can find it at Crafty Sentiments. I have used Promarkers to colour the image. and then added some glossy accents to the puddle and raindrops.

The ribbon and pearls are from our local market. This fabulous sentiment is from my collection and I used the computer to format it the way I wanted it to look, I love it and the fact that it comes from Dolly Parton is an added bonus!! I have used a die cut from Tickled Pink Stamps it is called 'Pink Valentine Die', I cut the die twice, one with the sentiment that I trimmed down and then left the second cut for the background. I have used stickles for the edges.
