Heraldic Birthday....

Hi Susan here... Its time for a new challenge over at The Crazy Challenge and the theme is 'Monster Attack and Dragon Tales', this is such a fun challenge and a theme that is great for boys/men cards!! Full details of the challenge can be found on The Crazy Challenge Blog.

We have a very special sponsor this week, shell's 13 year old daughter Didge, its her first time at sponsoring a challenge so please show her some support and join in the fun...she is offering 3 digi's from her collection to the winner. What do you think of that what a talented girl!!!

Now to my card, I have used my own sketch this week, my backing papers are a mix from Nitwits and Bev Rochester's gingham. All the edges of the backing papers have been distressed and inked. The heraldic images are from the internet that I made into tags. The brads and ribbon are all from my stash.

This great digi image is one of Didges Doodles, it is called 'Dragon Dude', and can be bought from the Stitchy Bear Stamp Store. I used Pro-Markers and chalks to colour it in, I then decoupaged the dragon onto a white outline piece of card and then layered it onto a shield.

My sentiment I made on the computer using the font 'Blackadder'. I mat and layered it onto the gingham paper and distressed and inked all edges.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.

Love Susan
