Tulips....

Hi Susan here...

It is the start of another challenge at Daisy Doodles and the theme this time is to make a project using the colours, yellow; white or cream. Full details of the challenge can be found on the Daisy Doodles Challenge Blog, please try and call over and join in the fun with us. The challenge closes on August 29th.

Now back to my card.... I have used a great sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches. My backing papers are a mix from a CD from Crafters Companion - Swalk, and Artylicious CD - Damask Delights. The top paper was torn into the shape I wanted. The gros grain ribbon is from my local market.

This digi image is part of a set of three images from the Daisy Doodles Shop and is called Tulips. I have coloured it in using Pro-Makers and chalks, I have gently inked the background of the topper and then mat and layered onto a ridged creamy yellow card.

My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.

Love Susan

  13. Mam this is such a precious card. The colour scheme is fab, I love it. I really like your image, I love the floral stamps, they're always so cheerful and bright and happy, just like real flowers!! My favourite paper is the darker yellow shade in the background, it has such beautiful graphic shapes to it. Your flowers are goregous too and as many others have mentioned, your bow is perfect!
