Nancy the Hedgehog.....

Hi Susan here...

Today we are starting a new sketch challenge at The Stamping Bazaar with a sketch designed by Emma!!
For full details of the challenge call across to The Stamping Bazaar Challenge Blog and join in the fun with us all, and take a look at all the fabulour inspiration from our design team.

Now for my card....

My backing papers are all from an old 12x12 scrapbooking pad from Kurio, I have aged the edges with Tim Holtz distressing inks. All the papers have been mat and layered onto a pearlescent red card from The Paper Mill. The pearls are from our local market. I made the little red flowers at the top right corner from a punch using some of the red card to co-ordinate with the colour scheme.

This cutie pie image is called 'Nancy the Hedgehog' and has been designed by our very own talented Marina Neira, she is available from The Stamping Bazaar Store. I have used Pro-Markers to colour her and have gently inked the edges with distressing ink.

This is a flower I made using two different size circles and ripped rather than cut it out, I shaped the edges and the layered it together, finally I found in my odd bin an old leather bracelet, the flowers looked just like the flowers I had made at the top of my card so I used then and the leather thongs for the centre of my flower.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Thank you so much for the time you have taken to look at my card and also all the lovely comments you leave, they are alway welcome. I hope you liked it.
Love Susan
