Winter Wishes......

Hi Susan here...

We are very pleased and excited to be guests at Crafty Emma's Store for the next four weeks, and today they have started a new challenge, the theme that was chosen by one of the design team is 'Vintage Christmas'....The prize for one lucky winner this week is a set of ''Father Christmas'' 6x6 papers by Pink Paislee. You can get full details of the challenge and some fantastic inspiration from the CES design team on the CES Challenge Blog.

Now on to my card...
I decided to keep the layout simple because my backing paper from Bearlymine is so gorgeous. I have distressed with gold ink the edges of the paper, and used a strip of vintage gold mirri card that I punched a pattern on the edges using a Martha Stewart punch. My ribbon is from our local market.

This beautiful sentiment is a mix of two images, a frame and a word art, designed by Ann Vento and is available from Raindrop Echo Designs, I have coloured the outer edge of the frame and then inked the outer edge with gold ink.

My flowers are a mix from Wild Orchid Crafts and Hobby Crafts.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Thank you so much for looking at my card and for leaving all your wonderful comments, I hope you liked it.
Love Susan
