Happy Birthday....To a special friend.....

Over at The Crazy Challenge we have another great challenge started today and the theme is 'Forever Friends', which is very kindly being sponsored by Arabela, she has a shop on Etsy with the cutest images. The prize this week will be two images from her store.

For my card, the image made me think of a childs birthday card, so I used primary colours for my card. I liked the look of an old sketch from 'Stamp With Fun' so I used it and just tweeked it a little. My backing papers are a mixture, the plain card is from The Paper Mill and the patterned paper is a 'My Craft Studio' CD from Create and Craft. All edges have been distressed and glittered with stickles.

This is one of the cute little digi stamps I was able to use from Arabela. I used Pro-Markers to colour it in and then I mat and layered several times, all edges were distressed and glittered.

I cut my own stars in colours to match my card and then glittered the edges.

Biker Chic Birthday....

Hi Susan here....

I am extremely happy to announce that I am now part of Lexi's Creations design team, this is my first card as part of this fabulous team!!!!

It is the start of another fabulous challenge over at Lexi's Creations and theme is 'Emboss It'. Now to my card.... I have used an older sketch from Sketchy Colours, so great for what I had in mind for this particular image. My backing papers are from a CD from Create and Craft called Lavender and Lace. It has the most gorgeous backing papers plus lots of other goodies. I used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder to emboss the strips of patterned card. All edges of my backing papers have been distressed.

My fabric covered brads and gems are all from my stash.

This gorgeous digi image is one of Lexi's and she is called 'Biker Chic Brooke' and you can buy her from Lexi's Doodles. I used Pro-Markers and chalks to colour her in and then gently inked the background before I distressed the edge of the topper. I mat and layered the topper onto an embossed and distressed mat and then onto a plain coloured distressed mat.

My sentiment was made on the computer, I have distressed the edges and mat and layered onto a plain distressed card.

My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the colours were just amazing and totally matched my backing papers.

Happy Birthday Cowboy!

Today is the start of another great challenge at Aud Sentiments. The theme is 'Anything Goes' how fabulous is that, so easy to join in with!! I chose to do a boy/mans card for this challenge. I used an older sketch from Truly Scrumptious, I loved this sketch as soon as I saw it. My papers are a mix from My Craft Studio and beautiful gingham from Bev Rochester, they are fabulous papers and the colours are amazing.

All the brads are from our stash, the ribbon that reminded me of a neck tie, is from our local market.

This beautiful digi image is from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps, I coloured it with Pro-Markers and then mat and layered it onto my sentiment that I made on the computer to fit around the image.

A meowy Christmas!...

It's time for a new challenge again today over at Cute Card Thursday and we have a fab sketch by Fran to work with, our sponsor again for this challenge is Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, they have the most fun and funky images!! Click HERE for more details of the challenge.

I decided to do another Christmas card with this sketch! My papers are a mix from an old CD from Create and Craft called Triple Treasures and gingham papers are from Bev's Blog, I have distressed and glittered all edges...

...My cute little image with the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and I have coloured it in using Promarkers and chalks, I have used a bit of flower soft around the bottom of the cat...

...I made my own poinsettia flower and holly leaves and glittered them all up...

...I die cutted a snowflake and coated it in glitter and layered it with a metal snowflake brad.

Now back to my card....

I have used an older sketch this time from Crafts 4 Eternity.

My backing papers are a mixture from my stash, of course I had to use one of my favourite colours, pink, the check flowered one is from a set of CD roms from Create and Craft called Triple Treasures. I used a Multi Shaper AllDeco Punch for the edge of the blue card. All have been stitched on the sewing machine.

The pearls are from my local market and the butterflies are called 'Fly Stickers', sorry can't remember where they are from I have had them for ages, but never liked the silver foil edges that they came with in the packet, so I trimmed off the foil and here they are now, I much prefer them this way.

This gorgeous digi image I have been very lucky to use on this card is called 'Pat' and she can be purchased from Crafty Sentiments. I coloured her in using Pro-Markers and then gently inked the background before distressing the edge and stitching the topper.

My flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Naughty or nice?!!!...

Hi there, its Emma here again!!!

This is my DT card for the Aud Sentiments Challenge, our theme this time is 'choose your own Christmas sentiment', so you can get a head start with all them Christmas cards!!!

Our Sponser this time is Digi Doodles and the winner will get a $10 gift certificate to spend in their store.

I thought this image was so cheeky and comical- I couldn't resist using it with the words I chose for my sentiment!!!

My papers a a mix from Nitwits and an old cd rom from Create and Craft called 'Christmas triple Treasures'. I distressed and glittered all my edges, I also made a mini paper chain using quilling strips to go around the top of the card!!!...

...my image is called 'Play Ball' and has been coloured using Promarkers and chalks, I added some glossy accents to the baubles and some glitter to the tinsel!!!...

...my sentiment is an old one from our stash, it fits this image perfect! I attached a few little jingle bells with some jump rings!

Cutie pie!!

For this card I have used an image from a cd rom which we have had for ages by Create and Craft called Triple Treasures - it is so cute!!

I am entering the Sundays with Chrissy challenge this week: 'favourite things'... I really love using lace and flowers, charms and pearls.

My papers are by Hot off the Press and I have distressed and glittered all edges...

...such an adorable image!

Here I have made my own tissue flower and ruffled and added glitter to it, my other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the charm I got from Bunny Zoes Crafts...

...I have used a pin which I also got from Wild Orchid and I added some of my own beads...

...I designed and printed my sentiment and distressed and glittered the edges. My lace and net trimmings are from my local market. The pearls and gems are all from my stash...

This image is so cute! It is from a triple set of cd roms by Create and Craft called Triple Treasures. The papers are from my stash- a bit of everything, but the colours work really well!! The edges have all been distressed and glittered. The flowers are a mix of my own which I have punched and the rest are by Prima, I have put glitter on them all- you can never have too much glitter!!! The gorgeous lace is from my local market...

...I printed the sentiment myself and distressed and glittered the edges.
