The Stamping Bazaar - Marvin the Bat....

Hi Susan here....

Each Monday on The Stamping Bazaar Blog we showcase all the creations made by the design team for the coming week using an image designed by Marina Neira for The Stamping Bazaar Store.

Each day of the week you will be getting inspiration from of our talented team. The DT are going to show you on their own blogs how they made their creations, and you will be able to follow the links to the image in the Store and for the next days DT member throughout the week.

Today is my day to show you what I have made.....

Now for my card....

I wanted to make something a little different this week and chose to make a twisting topper card, I love these cards they are so effective and the topper with the image is the main focal point on the card as it swings round and round showing the sentiment on the back.
I have used one of my favourite images designed by Marina Neira and available from The Stamping Bazaar Store.....His name as if you didn't know it is 'Marvin the Bat'.

I have used scraps of backing papers from my stash and was really pleased with the effect these papers had with one another.
My flowers are from Hobby Craft but the leaves I made myself from offcuts of white card, inks and a ball tool for the veins and shaping.
As usual the ribbon and pearls are from our local market.

This shows the inside on my card and the reverse of the twisting topper showing the sentiment that I made on the computer.

Today you will also be able to see some fabulous work from our DT member Lou, please call across to Lou's Blog and leave her some love, her work is so inspirational. Tomorrow there will not be anything from our two DT members Tina and Tash but they will be back with us soon so keep watching.

Don't forget to call again at The Stamping Bazaar Blog on Monday to see next weeks creations, and on Wednesday for our regular Special Designer Guest Spot.

Thank you for looking and for all your wonderful comments
Love Susan

...I have made a mini 4"x4" card again...I really love this cute little size!!!  My papers are all scraps and I have distressed, glittered and machine stitched the edges, my hessian fabric is also from stash and the pearly trim and ribbon are from the market.  The flowers are a mix by Prima and Hobbycraft...

....I have used the gorgeous 'Marvin's Easter Egg' designed by Marina Neira, and is available at The Stamping Bazaar.  I have coloured this little cutie pie with a mix of grey lead pencil and Promarkers and chalks...

....I have stamped onto another piece of scrap patterned paper {See I used 3 papers on a dinky card!!!!}  The sentiment is from the new 'Pink Victorian Sentiments Set' designed by the lovely Ann Vento and is available at Tickled Pink Stamps.  I have also used the 'Pink Valentine Die', which is also available at Tickled Pink Stamps.
