Fussy and Fancy....Polka Dots..

Hi Susan here...

It is a new challenge over at Fussy and Fancy this week and the theme is called 'Polka Dots', you can find full details of the challenge and some fabulous inspiration from the Design Team there, please call across and join in with us all for some fun.

Now for my creation

Recently a friend of mine was really 'off colour' with a bad cold and I remembered seeing something like this on the internet a few months back and decided to make it for her to cheer her up!!

All the flowers are from Hobby Craft and the leaves have been made using a punch.
The ribbon and pearls are from our local market.
The ticket and sentiment are from Raindrop Echo Designs.
The backing papers are from my stash, I have used imitation stitching around the edges.

This is the inside, showing the pockets where I put some tissues, tea bags and cold treatment sachets.

This gorgeous sentiment and frame is from Raindrop Echo Designs, I coloured around the edge of the frame with chalks to match my colour scheme.

This is my close-up of this gorgeous digi image from Meljens, I have used chalks to colour it. It was just what I wanted for this creation.....

Thank you so much for looking and for all your wonderful comments
Love and hugs

Lexi's Creations....Fancy Folds...

Hi Susan here...

Well time flies and we are here again with another great challenge over at Lexi's Creations.
The theme for this challenge is Fancy Folds, full details can be found on the Lexi's Creations Challenge Blog, basically we are looking for something special from you, not just a square or rectangle card, there is also some of the most amazing inspiration from the Design Team, I hope you will check this challenge out and come and join in with us.

Now on to my card...

You all know how much I love making these easel cards.....and for this challenge I have made one for a new baby.....This photo shows you the side view with the folds at the back.

This is to show you how the card looks face-on.
My backing paper is from my stash. The gorgeous lace and Broidery Anglais is from our local market.

This beautiful digi image has been designed by Lexi Lee and is available at Fairy Dust Crafts. I have used chalks to colour the image and then mat and layered the image onto scalloped card that I have dusted with chalks on the edges. The beautiful lace that I have trimmed the topper with is from our local market.

These tickets and sentiments are from Raindrop Echo Designs.

These gorgeous flowers are from Hobby Craft.

This is to show you the tag pocket I put into all my easel cards for the hand written sentiment to be put.

Thank you for taking the time to look and for all your wonderful comments
Love and hugs
