Hi Susan here....

Today is the start of a new challenge at Aud Sentiments, the theme this time is to use the word 'THANKS' somewhere on your card, easy peasy!!!!
This week we are so lucky to have Meljen's as our sponsor. They have the most adorable images. If you haven't had the chance to visit their site please go take a look.
For full details of the challenge and some inspiration from the design team call across to Aud Sentiments, and join in the fun with us.

For my card I used backing papers a CD from Artylicious called Butterfly Bliss. I love the papers and colours on this CD always a pleasure to work with. The edges have been distressed and glittered with stickles. The ribbon and gems are all from our local market.

I have been very lucky to use a cute and gorgeous image from Meljen's called 'Little Girl Bear Hugs'. I used Pro-Markers to colour her in and I have gently inked the background before distressing the edge of the topper and mat and layering onto a scalloped piece of purple card.

My flowers have been handmade using a five petal punch, I added glittered to the edges, I used the same card I matted the topper with for the buds!

My sentiment was made of the computer. The background has been gently inked and the edges distressed and glittered.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.

Make a Wish....

Hi Susan here....

There is a new challenge over at The Crazy Challenge and the theme is 'TONS OF SHAPES', for full details of the challenge and some great inspiration from the design team please call across to The Crazy Challenge Blog and join in the fun with us.

For my card I used a selection of backing papers from my stash, I wanted to have a watery feel so kept the colours to greens, browns and blue with of the course the touch of pink, well I had to didn't I!!
All the edges have been distressed and glittered with stickles. I hope you can seen all the different shapes I have used on this card, not just the shape of my topper and tags, there are the shells and the shapes in the backing paper and my flower. My ribbons and pearls are all from our local market.

My beautiful digi image is from Sassy Studios and she is called 'Little Honeys Little Mermaid', isn't she great, the 'All Natural Woman' haha!! The shells were from various holidays I love collecting shells and bringing them home. I have used Pro-Markers to colour my image and then I mat and layer her onto a large scalloped deep blue/green card. The edges have been distressed and glittered.

I made my own flower, it is supposed to be a replica of the one in the mermaids hair, I slightly decoupaged three of the petals, the edges have all been glittered. Pearl stamens have been used for the center.

My sentiment was made on the computer, the edges again have been distressed and glittered.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Paper Sundaes 41 - A natural woman (well a mermaid is natural and a woman!!)

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.

Lil Lolita Ivy.........Ooh la la!!!!!!

Hi there everyone, Emma here........

Only 2 days until my Birthday....heehee!!  I have made another card using one of my all time faves from the Lil Lolita collection at Tickled pink Stamps........'Ivy'
I have used a sketch designed by Kellie from this weeks Lil Lolita Boutique challenge and flipped it, My paper is from a cd rom by Artylicious, I have distressed and glittered the edges and machine stitched all round the edges....

.....I just adore 'Ivy'.....she is so sassy, just look at those gorgeous eyes!!!  I have coloured her with Promarkers and chalks,  the Eiffel Tower image is from an old cd.....I loved the 'sketchy' look about it and thought it would work well with this card....

.....I am addicted to making my own flowers!  I made my own rolled fabric roses and attached some vintage looking brads to the centres, I then sprayed them with a little vintage gold glitter.  I have used a gorgeous big brown feather behind the flowers......

......All my gorgeous lace, pearly trim and ribbon are from our local market....

.....I made my own ticket style sentiments on the computer and glittered the edges.

Christmastime Little Elf.....

Hi Susan here.....

I hope you all had a great weekend, and I truly hope that this week will be better than the last.......ours wasn't too good......but it can only get better!!!!!!!!

Today is the start of something very exciting at The Stamping Bazaar, we are starting regular weekly challenges to be held on Mondays, I do hope you can come along and join in the fun with us each week.
For our first challenge we are asking you to work from a fantastic sketch designed by our own Penni Vickers.
Its such a great inspirational sketch and you know me I like my sketches!!!! For full details of our challenge, the prize up for grabs and some great inspiration from our design team call across to The Stamping Bazaar.

For my card I used backing papers from Bearlymine, all edges have been distressed and glittered with stickles. I mat and layered the circled corners onto a deep red card then doilies. The beautiful ribbon has come from our local market, it is gorgeous its like having three ribbons in one with a gold metalic thread running through it.

This has to be the cutest little elf ever, he is available from The Stamping Bazaar Store from today, he is called 'Little Elf with Present'. Go check out the store there are some fantastic cute little images to suit every occasion. I have coloured him in using Pro-Markers, I then cut him out, very easy to do as he has such clean lines, I then mat and layered him onto plain kraft card and again onto a deep red card that I have punched out the sides. All edges have been distressed and glittered.

My flower was hand drawn and cut out of the same red card as I have mat and layered the rest of the card, the edges were distressed with ink and then glittered before joining together, the stamens have been made using flock. The holly leaves have been hand drawn and cut out then inked and glittered.
