Hi Susan here again....
Its the beginning of the month and time for another great challenge from Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog, the theme this time is 'Paper Piecing', for full details of the challenge and the great prize for the winner call across to the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog and join in the fun with us all, there is some great inspiration to be seen from the design team.
For my card I chose a great sketch from Stampavie and More just perfect for what I wanted for my card. My backing papers were a mixture from my stash and the patterned paper is from Bearlymine. All the edges have been aged with inks and then distressed .
My beautiful little girl is from one of Linnies sets, number 121, she is just one of four on the sheet, she can be purchased from The Whoopsi Daisy Store. I used Pro-Markers to colour her in and I used the patterned paper from Bearlymine, which I reduced in size on the computer to paper piece her dress.
The pumpkins are from Nitwits.
My sentiment was made on the computer, the edges were aged with ink and then distressed.
These metal star brads were silver and white and I coloured them with Pro-Markers, before attaching a tiny piece of ribbon.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.
Love Susan
