Now onto my card....
I have a very special couple in mind for this card, I used a fabulous backing paper from Bearlymine, the edges have been distressed and glittered, then machine stitched. My base card is from The Paper Mill Shop. The pearls and lace are all from our local market.
I used a Fiskars template and cut out the heart shape around my image, I backed itonto a deep red scalloped card, I have distressed and glittered the edge, then put a frill of lace all round the edge, and machine stitched everything in place.
This ever so cute image is from The Stamping Bazaar Store and has been designed by Marina Neira. His name is 'Shy Sammy'. I used Promarkers to colour the image, and added a little bit of glitter on the hearts.
My sentiments are a mixture of two that have been designed by the very talented Ann Vento, the tickets and the wordart, available from Raindrop Echo Designs. I blanked out the middle of the tickets on the computer and joined my choice of sentiments to the centre. I coloured the outer edges with Promarkers then gently inked towards the middle with distressing inks.
My flowers, buds and leaves I made myself using pieces of the card I used on the project.
I am entering this card into the following challenges -
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my card, and for leaving all your wonderful comments. I hope you liked it.
