Hi Susan here....
Today at The Stamping Bazaar we are starting a new challenge and this week the theme is 'Valentines', easy at this time of the year ..... come and join us, you must have someone special you want to make a card for so why not come along and have some fun!!!!
For full details of the challenge and to see some fabulous inspiration from the design team please call across to The Stamping Bazaar Challenge Blog.
Now onto my card....
My backing paper is from my stash, I have inked around the edges with Tim Holtz distressing inks. The red panel has been dry embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then I aged it with distressing inks.
The ribbon, lace and pearls as usual are from our local market.
One of my favourite images designed by Marina Neira and available at The Stamping Bazaar Store as a digital image is 'Shy Sammy' I love this little character, I have used promarkers to colour the image and I have added small amounts of glossy accents to the little hearts on the image.
The word sentiment I made on the computer, the die cut shape and the little script heart rubber stamps are from Tickled Pink Stamps.
The chipboard hearts behind the flowers are made using a die cut from Sizzix. The flowers are a mixture from Wild Orchid Crafts and Hobby Craft.
