Having fun with Lili of the Valley...

Hi Susan here....

I had some spare time.....Whoo hoo so what did I do? - I spent it making a CARD!!!! Well what do you expect we all do it don't we! Thats why we are here because we all love crafting.

I decided to use an old favourite of mine, its a Lili of the Valley stamp, the little girl pushing her pram, I love this image!!

I have used an absolutely gorgeous sketch from Lili of the Valley, it was pure coincidence that I had my image coloured when I was looking through the challenges for a sketch.....the sketch is gorgeous and just shouted out to me to use it.
My backing paper is from Nitwits and I used an embossing folder from Cuttlebug for the white card I mat and layered this onto a pale pink card and after distressing the edge of the curve I sewed some gathered lace onto the curved edge. I love script in the background and this is such a gently way of using it on a childs card. My lace, ribbon and pearls are as usual from our local market.

This stamp from Lili of the Valley is one of my all time favourites, I love this image, its so cute. I have used Promarkers to colour and mat and layered onto pink card, I distressed the edges and then I sewed the gathered lace onto the edge of the bottom layer. My flowers are a mix from Prima and Hobby Craft, the leaves are a punch.

The ticket is from Raindrop Echo Designs, I made the sentiment to fit the inside.

  1. I bought this stamp on Thursday at the SECC, so it is nice to see a finished card, especially a fabulous card like the one you have made.
