Hi Susan here....
Today at Sentimental Sundays we have started a new challenge and the theme is Handmade Flowers.....For full details of the challenge plus some fabulous inspiration from the design team please call across to Sentimental Sundays Challenge Blog
Our sponsor is Raindrop Echo Designs.....It is well worth a visit to this store the sentiments are absolutely beautiful and you will find something to suit anybody and any ocassion.
Now for my card....
My backing paper is from a 12x12 Colour Book full of beautiful papers and vellums. All the edges have been distressed...the vellum torn for an uneven edge. My ribbon and pearls are from our local market as usual. The small flowers are from Hobby Craft, I used the tutorial of Emma's for the rolled fabric flower first time of making these beautiful flowers - won't be my last I love them. The leaves I made using a scrap piece of white card, cut them with deckle scissors and used inks to colour and a ball tool for the shaping and veins. The butterflies were made using a punch, inks, glitter and pearls.
My beautiful sentiment and frame is from Raindrop Echo Designs, I coloured the frame on the computer to match my colour scheme.
Thank you so much for looking and for all your wonderful comments
Love Susan
