Sentimental Sundays.....Anything but a card...

Hi Susan here....

Today at Sentimental Sundays we have started a new challenge and the theme is 'Anything but a card'.....so come on join in and make a gift for someone, make a tag for a gift, make anything in fact as long as its not a card.....

For full details of the challenge and to see some fabulous inspiration from the design team call across to Sentimental Sundays.

Now for my creation...

The backing paper pieces are from my stash, I have distressed the edges and glittered with stickles. The bottom edge of the bookmark I have used a Alldeco Multi Punch. The ribbon and pearls are as usual from our local market. The flowers are from Hobby Craft, I made the little butterflies by using a punch and then chalked them in the colours I wanted, glittering with stickles and lastly adding pearls for the bodies.

This is one of my favourite frames from Raindrop Echo Designs, designed by Ann Vento, I have coloured the outer edge with chalks I love the shading you get with chalks. The sentiment was also designed by Ann Vento and available from Raindrop Echo Designs.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my creation and for all your wonder comments.
Love Susan

  6. Mam this is beautiful. Love the flowers and the butterflies. These bookmarks are too good to leave in a book, they should be in an art gallery!!! xxx
