Shy Sammy Pop Out Birthday Card...

Hi Susan here....

Well here is another card that I made with some spare time that I have had this week.....hope you like it!! I have made one of my favourite shaped cards a pop-out card!

This is the front of my card.....my backing papers are from my stash. The large doily in the background is from a die I have inked and glittered the edges. The ticket sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs.

This is to show you the inside and how it looks when it is open.
My ribbon is from our local market. The small butterflies are made using a punch. The edges have been made using a Magnolia edge die.

This is the butterfly in the fold of the card....I have coloured it with inks and added glitter, then cut several layers of the shape in voile and netting. I only glue the butterfly to the centre fold then it keeps the wings free for when the card is open. The butterfly has been made using a die.

This is how the card looks from the side to show the cut out piece from the inside to reveal the large butterfly.

This little digi image is well known to most of you, it has been designed by Marina Neira and is called 'Shy Sammy'.....he can be found at The Stamping Bazaar Store. I have used promarkers to colour and shade him.

My flowers are a mix from Prima and Hobby Craft....the large one in the centre has been handmade by me using two sizes of die, card, ink and some pearl stamens and a little bit of patience.

  3. Hello Ladies! Susan especially for this one!So I've been working with Sentimental Sundays for a while and always loved the DT work but always swamped with commenting and such I don't get to visit teamies too much! However, the card this week was stunning and I had to stop over to tell you so! By the way, there is a white daisy flower with some print on it in the background that really caught my eye! What brand is it?
Hope you have a great weekend
