Lexi's Creations - New Challenge....

Hi Susan here...

Today we have a new challenge starting at Lexi's Creations and the theme is 'Monochrome', this is a great challenge and simply means that we want to see all your fabulous creations just using shades/tones of one colour!!
Our sponsor this time is Letraset and they are offering a fabulous prize for the winner, so come on have a go, join us this time.
The Design Team have gone to town as usual and have produced some amazing creations for you to get inspiration from - for full details of the challenge and to see the DT creations call across to Lexi's Creations Challenge Blog.

Now for my card....

My backing paper is black card from my stash and a Dovecraft 8x8 Designer Paper Pack. For more impact I have mat and layered onto the black card all the designer papers. The swirls have been made from the same black card using a sizzix accents die. My flowers are a mix from Prima and Hobby Craft. The pearls and black gems are from our local market. My sentiment ticket is from Raindrop Echo Designs.

This is one of my favourite digi images designed by Lexi and available from Fairy Dust Crafts, called 'Christmas Shopping Phoebe'. I love this image because you can use it in so many ways for so many occasions. I have coloured the image using a black chalk pencil. I love colouring images in with chalk pencils the shading can be so dramatic especially in monochromatic colour schemes.
