A Little Treat...

Hi there, it's Susan here, hope you are all having a great weekend!

Although I was too late to use this sketch design for a challenge I decided to still use it, I thought it was a great sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You, I have had a good time making this card.

The backing papers for this card are from our stash, it's amazing how the little pieces that you thought you would never use come in handy for cardmaking.

All the edges have been distressed and glittered using stickles.

The punched edges have been made using a Multi Shaper allDeco Punch.

The ribbon and lace are from our local market.

This little image is from Belles and Whistles, absolutely gorgeous little stamp, I love it.

I coloured it in using Pro-Markers.

The flowers are a mixture of my own handmade flower and the smaller ones are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:-

Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.

Love Susan

  4. I know what you mean about your stash. I've just spent all day sorting through my box and found lots but also thrown away lots of bits.
Isn't she lovely, she reminds me of the late 60's to early 70's now I am showing my age there!!! LOL
I wish we had a market up here for lace and ribbon.

  22. Mam I love the touches of red, they add so much class and mystery to your cards, I just love red. The paper at the very back of your card is beautiful, I love the scroll designs on it. Your flowers are amazing, they look so difficult to make but I bet you make them so quickly and easily! I love this image, you have used it a few times but it always looks so different.
Yet again, another perfectly beautiful card xxx
