Hi, it's Susan again, well it's my Grandson Liam's 14th birthday on the 16th and because there was such a lot of challenges this week based on male themes I thought I would make his card early and enter it in them. He shares our crafting room with Emma and I, he lies on the spare bed playing on his PS3 and we all have a great time together!
I started with a wonderful sketch from Friday Sketchers this was an absolutely great sketch just right for what I wanted. The backing papers were from my bits and pieces box, lucky they were the colours I wanted!
This digi image I got free from HERE it was the ideal choice for me, I coloured it in using Pro-Markers. The sentiment I designed on the computer and printed onto the surround of the image.
The tassel and rope effect I made using embroidery threads that I had in my stash, it was supposed to match the rope bracelet that is on the arm of the boy in the image.
The buttons were from my stash.
I have entered this card in the following challenges...
Friday Sketchers #105 - sketch
Dare U 2 Digi #39 - Red, White and Blue + image
Aud Sentiments - It's your day ....
One Stitch at a Time #16 - Boys to Men
Digi Doodle Shops Best Challenge #10 - Buttons, Buttons
Thank you for taking the time to look at my creation, I hope you like it.
Love Susan
