Happy Birthday Cowboy!

Hi Susan here, again!!!

Today is the start of another great challenge at Aud Sentiments. The theme is 'Anything Goes' how fabulous is that, so easy to join in with!! Our sponsor this time is '2 Cute Rubber Stamps', WOW you should go see their images, such fun!! They are giving the winner a free rubber stamp or 2 digi stamps! So what excuse have you got! None! Join in with us and you never know you could be the winner!!! If you need inspiration, call over at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog and take a look at all the DT creations.

There is also a special thing happening a DT call for two talented ladies. If you are interested please put DT next to your entry on the challenge blog. The call will be open until Tuesday, August 31 and the lucky two will be announced on Thursday, September 2 with the new challenge. The term will run until the end of December. You will be required to make a project for each fortnightly challenge, to comment on the entries, and help in selecting the winners.

I chose to do a boy/mans card for this challenge. I used an older sketch from Truly Scrumptious, I loved this sketch as soon as I saw it. My papers are a mix from My Craft Studio and beautiful gingham from Bev Rochester, they are fabulous papers and the colours are amazing.

All the brads are from our stash, the ribbon that reminded me of a neck tie, is from our local market.

This beautiful digi image is from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps, I coloured it with Pro-Markers and then mat and layered it onto my sentiment that I made on the computer to fit around the image.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Thank you for taking the time to look at my card. I hope you liked it.

Love Susan

  6. Mam this is so fun. I was staring at your brads and amazed by how you've spaced them all exactly equal in distance from the next!!! Now that's a skill in itself!! The image and sentiment combined is a very clever idea, very effective. I love the bold cowboy colours. It looks a real simple layout that you have maximized brilliantly by using the papers and embellishments you chose.
Fab card Mam, so proud of you xxx
