Hi there, Susan here.
It is our pleasure to announce that Emma and I have been accepted onto The Crazy Challenge Design Team, and this card is our first challenge with them!!!!
I do hope you can join in the fun with all of us at The Crazy Challenge full details of the challenge can be found on the Challenge Blog. The theme is a beautiful colour combination, Olive; Fuchsia and Teal! There is some great creations to get you inspired by the Design Team using cute digi images designed by Zlatoena, her designs can be found at Etsy.
Now back to my card....
I used a great sketch from Papertake Weekly.
The ribbons and flowers are from our stash and our local market.
All my backing papers are from Nitwits, I have distressed all the edges and glittered them with stickles.
This is one of the cute images from Zlatoena at Etsy, he is called Birthday Rabbit! I coloured the image with Pro-Markers and then gently inked the background before distressing the edges of the topper and glittering them.
My sentiment has been made on my computer... well a rabbit does hop!!!! I distressed the edges and glittered to match the rest of the card.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.
Love Susan

ReplyDeleteMam I love your papers and layout, it makes everything feel so central and symmetrical, the flowers and sentiment at the bottom are the perfect balance to the card. They all look so well together and the colours are really pretty. I love your image, the cake looks mighty tasty - great colouring!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the pearls you use, I try to imagine this card without them and it just wouldn't look right!!! Generous usage of pretty pearls is fastly becoming another Pink Ladies trademark!!!
