Catch of the day.........

Hi there Susan here.....

Today over at Cute Card Thursday we have started a new challenge and the theme is to use a fabulous sketch by our Leanne. Our sponsor for this challenge is the wonderful Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is a Canadian stamp company which just opened in October 2009! They feature images from artists Crissy Armstrong, Annie Rodrigue, Steven Leary and Jean Grant which are both whimsical and quirky!

The prize up for grabs this week is........Two Images of the winners choice.
For full details of this challenge and to see the sketch call across at Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog and join in the fun with us.

Now on to my card.......Naturally I have used the sketch that has been set for this weeks challenge. My backing papers are all from a 12/12 paper pack from HOTP called 'Boys to Men', I absolutely love these papers they are ideal colours and designs just right for 'Boys and Men'. All the edges have been distressed. The corner dies are from Sizzix love them just right for mens cards, I have added glossy accents to the top.

My image is from The Stamping Bazaar and is called 'Catch of the Day', designed by Marina Neira...I have used Pro-Markers and chalks to colour the image and gently inked the outer edge of the topper before matting onto a piece of kraft coloured card. My sentiment was made on the computer.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.
Love Susan
