Hi Susan here.....
Its Friday and the weekend is nearly here.....over at the Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog we have group B's inspirational creations to show you for the ongoing challenge, the theme is to use 'Christmas colours' on your creations but it doesn't necessarily mean you have to make a Christmas card!! You still have a week to join in the fun with us, so please call across to the Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog for the full details of the challenge and to take a look at what the design team has made to show you over the past two weeks. Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Simon Says Stamp and they are giving the winner of this challenge a $15.00 voucher to spend on whatever in their store.
Now on with my card......All my backing paper is from bits and pieces in my stash. The edges have been distressed, and I have mat and layered onto a green card. The beautiful lace is from Wild Orchid Craft and the pearls are from my local market.
My beautiful digi image is from 'Fairy Dust Crafts' and her name is 'Christmas Shopping Phoebe', I just love Lexi's images they are a dream to colour. I used Pro-Markers and chalks to colour the image and then gently inked the background. The sentiment was made on the computer, the font is called 'curlz'.
My ribbon is from our local market and the little metal 'twisty thingymebob' is from my stash, had a tub of them forever.
The gorgeous flowers are from Prima, the pearl brads are from my stash.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.
