Hi Susan here....
I am so happy to announce both Emma and I are on the fabulous design team at Whoopsi Daisy, and today is the start of a new and exciting challenge!!!
The theme is 'Pile on the Flowers', how easy is that, for anyone who loves putting flowers on their cards or using beautiful flowery backing papers this is the ideal challenge. Call on over to Whoopsi Daisy and join in the fun, you have the whole of September to enjoy this challenge. If you are low on inspiration then call across to the Challenge Blog and see just what the design team has done.
Now to my card....I used an older sketch from Friday Sketchers for my layout and my backing papers are from a Crafters Companion CD called Vintage Christmas. All the edges have been distressed and inked. My lace is from our local market, I have dyed it with distressing ink.
My beautiful digi image is from the Whoopsi Daisy Store and is from a sheet containing four images the number is '93'. Check out all the beautiful designs in this store they are amazing!
I have used Pro-Markers and chalks to colour her in.
The large flower I made using a five petal punch with seed beads in the middle, the blossoms are also a punch with a pearl in the middle, the smaller red ones are from John Lewis.
The pins and ribbon are from my local market, I have added a couple of extra beads to the pins.
My sentiment was made on the computer using the 'Edwardian Script' font.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, hope you liked it.
Love Susan
