Thinking of you.......

Hi Susan here....

Over at Lexi's Creations we are having a new challenge and the theme is....wait for it....'Flower Power', now come on how easy is that!!!! Well as you know me I always try to add a flower or two to my cards, but then you can add flowers in your backing papers also!!! For full details of the challenge call across to Lexi's Creations and while you're there join in the fun!!! Our sponsor this time is the fabulous Joanna Sheen and she is offering the winner of this challenge a £10.00 voucher to spend in her online shop.

For my card I have used backing papers from Nitwits, I have distressed all edges with Tim Holtz distressing inks, my border was punched using a Multi Shaper AllDeco Punch. My pearls and lace are from our local market.

This beautiful image is one of Lexi's Designs and is called 'Brooke Thinking of You', you can buy her from Lexi's online store called 'Fairy Dust Studio'. I love using these designs they are so easy to colour and full of inspiration. I have used Pro-Markers to colour the image, as with the backing papers I have distressed the edges of the topper with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink.

My sentiment was made on my computer using the font 'Edwardian Script'.

My flowers are a mix, the large cream one I made myself using a five petal flower punch, the rest are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, I hope you liked it.

Love Susan

I can't believe you made that gorgeous flower yourself, it's so amazing and full of lovely petals, well done!
This card looks so vintage. Your backing paper reminds me of wallpaper in a really old country cottage, I really love it. The pearls in the corners are fantastic, I love the pearls you both use.
    Great card Mam xxx

  11. Hey Girls! I finally figured out how I can comment at your blog. For some reason when I open with firefox, I can't leave a comment, I couldn't follow you or click your links in your sidebar! A lot of my dt members also had the same problem. I tried opening your page with Safari and voila! I wonder why it doesn't work in Firefox? Do you have some kind of plugin in your gadgets that might be causing it. I just wonder how many comments you may be missing out on because of it.

Your card is gorgeous Susan. Thanks for joining fairy fun fridays!
