Hi Susan here....
Today at The Stamping Bazaar we have a new sketch challenge starting. The sketch has been designed by our own Penni....
For full details of the challenge and some fantastic inspiration from the design team please call across to The Stamping Bazaar Challenge Blog.
Now for my card....
Following this weeks fantastic sketch I have used a Bearlymine backing paper and distressed the edges with white ink. The blue and red card that I used a Martha Stewart punch on the edges is from The Paper Mill Shop. I distressed the edges on these the same with white ink.
My ribbon and pearls are from our local market.
This little beauty is called 'Louisa the Lioness' and has been designed by Marina Neira, you can purchase her from The Stamping Bazaar Store. I have used Promarkers to colour the image and then I gently inked the background with distressing inks. The edges have been distressed with white ink.
My sentiment has been made on the computer, the edges have been distressed with blue and white ink.
My flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my card and for all the lovely comments you leave. I hope you liked it.
Love Susan

Wow, white ink??! Great job Mam. Lovely card. In my opinion it seems to have a subtle french theme running through this beauty, but then again I try to find France in everything!!
