Hi Susan here....
Today is the start of our sixth challenge at The Stamping Bazaar, the theme is a fabulous sketch designed by our very own Marley, take a look below.....
For full details call across to The Stamping Bazaar Challenge Blog and take a look while you're there at the fabulous inspiration from the design team.
Marina has some very special offers available in her store, its well worth a visit, the images she designs are absolutely gorgeous.
Just a reminder don't forget to keep a look out for our blog hop starting on Wednesday 1st December.
Now on to my card.....
Of course I have used Marleys sketch for the challenge, fabulous, so easy to get inspiration from. I have used backing papers from my stash and aged and distressed the edges with distressing inks from Tim Holtz, I have included a vintage french post card behind my bow. My lace and ribbon has been aged with ink to give a vintage look to them, including my pearls they come from our local market.
This little guy is called 'Shy Sammy' and has been designed by Marina Neira, he can be bought from The Stamping Bazaar Store. I have coloured him using Promarkers and have inked the background and edges with inks then layered the topper onto a scalloped mat that I aged with inks.
My sentiment was made on the computer, the edges of the tag have been aged with inks.
My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card and leaving your wonderful comments. I hope you liked it.
