Spiral Christmas Tree.....

Hi Susan here.....

A new challenge has started today at Lexi's Creations and runs for two weeks, the theme is 'Traditional Christmas Colours'. For full details of the challenge and for some amazing inspiration from the design team please call across to the Lexi's Creations Challenge Blog.
Our sponsor for this challenge is  Letraset -

LETRASET, the manufacturers of Promarkers, that we know you all love, have donated a pack of 5 Promarkers for one lucky randomly selected winner.

Now on to my card....
I have used a sketch of my own for this layout, my backing papers are all from my stash of older printed papers from CD's. I have distressed all the edges and added glitter, I do love glittery Christmas cards!!
My ribbon and gems have all come from our local market.

This fabulous digi image is from Fairy Dust Crafts and is called 'Bauble Spiral Christmas Tree', I loved it when I saw it, so delicate, I used a glue pen and various colours of glitter to bring it to life. The topper has had its edges distressed and glittered and then mat and layered onto a scalloped deep red piece of card.

The sentiment I made myself on the computer, the edges were inked and then distressed and glittered.

My flowers have been handmade using some of the backing paper and a five petal flower punch that I slightly altered before layering together and adding glitter to the edges.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my card and for leaving all your wonderful comments, they are much appreciated. I hope you liked it.
Love Susan
