Hi Susan here...
We are very pleased and excited to be guests at Crafty Emma's Store for the next four weeks, and today they have started a new challenge, the theme that was chosen by one of the design team is 'Vintage Christmas'....The prize for one lucky winner this week is a set of ''Father Christmas'' 6x6 papers by Pink Paislee. Now on to my card...
I decided to keep the layout simple because my backing paper from Bearlymine is so gorgeous. I have distressed with gold ink the edges of the paper, and used a strip of vintage gold mirri card that I punched a pattern on the edges using a Martha Stewart punch. My ribbon is from our local market.
This beautiful sentiment is a mix of two images, a frame and a word art, designed by Ann Vento and is available from Raindrop Echo Designs, I have coloured the outer edge of the frame and then inked the outer edge with gold ink.
My flowers are a mix from Wild Orchid Crafts and Hobby Crafts.

Absolutely stunning I agree Susan those papers are so beautiful it seems a shame to hide them, I love the use of the sentiment as the focal point the gold column and flowers look wonderful, I love it.

Mam these sentiment cards of yours are fast becoming my favourites. I love how there is no picture, just the sentiment. You make them look so amazing everytime. The flowers are gorgeous and I think your paper is beautiful.
